3 Early Fall Outfits for an easy switch of temps

call them early fall or late summer outfits

One day it’s 98º and the next we’re shooting down a metal slide to 72º and looking for our sweatshirts, wondering if summer is fizzling out early. {Are there any metal, skin-scorching slides left in parks anymore?}

First week of September is about the time we start seeing temperature swings and wonder if fall leaves will start turning bright red and orange and we can buy cozy sweaters to match..

Another bonus with cooler days is we can wear more layers without glistening oval diamonds of sweat dotting our face –orrrr, on the really hot days, sweat rolling down the sides of my face like a waterfall–

Travel days were MADE FOR MID-SEASON!

Layering gives us the best of both wardrobe worlds with t-shirts or tanks by warm summer day, then tossing on a top layer for the cooler Fall times to skip over to Happy Hour for the Taxco Jamaica Margarita with hibiscus –Delicious, try it!–

We’re not wishing away summer.

Welllll, unless you’re in Phoenix or Houston, then you’re ready for the coveted days of fall when it no longer feels like opening an oven door when you walk outside.

MidLife travelers are stretching into later fall.

These three easy outfits are perfect for your travel shenanigans.

These three top-side ideas are an easy mix-n-match to pack up and enjoy the hot days that turn into cool nights…for that sangria, Bourbon Mule, or Jamaica Margarita in hand.

3 EASY LATE SUMMER TO Early FALL OUTFITS

High-waisted, cropped bell pants to say, “I might be ready for fall, but I’m keeping my ankles open” And ditto with the shoes…Not summer sandals, but not full-sock-covered feet yet.

Stripe to Bright

Stripe t-shirts {or solids} by day with bright yellow, pink, orange sweatshirt over the shoulders for night.

The Monochrome Look

Solid tank with jacket to match. Match it really easy by keeping the same color for both layers. This TANK comes in so many colors and supper comfy {size up if between, it shrinks a little in the dryer}

LOOK 2

Sweater Weather…Kinda

Graphic tee’s are FUN! Wear your favorite –or add a few new ones to your collection– and bring along a collarless sweater blazer for the cooler nights.

LOOK 3

Easy to pack and simple to match for wherever you’re heading {if you’re heading to Phoenix – Houston – Dallas, throw in a pair of shorts too. The oven is still on broil-mode there. 😉

HAPPY MIDLIFE TRAVELS YOU BEAUTIFUL SOUL!
